Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (IVM) is an indigenous automobile manufacturer based in Nnewi, Anambra State. It was founded by Chief Innocent Chukwuma, OON. He pioneered the first made-in-Nigeria motorcycle brand that sold for as low as N60,000. By 2002, he had successfully driven imported used (Tokunbo) motorcycles out of Nigeria.

Chukwuma has taken the same passion of bringing down costs and gradually phasing out Tokunbo to the automobile, assembling affordable and environment-friendly vehicles. Its product lineup includes heavy-duty vehicles, middle and high-level buses, and special environment-friendly vehicles.

The company says it carries out optimization design and assembling according to African road conditions so as to produce suitable products at affordable prices. It assembles sport utility vehicles, cars, MPV, pickups, and buses. It recently went into mass production of buses and cars that can run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which are a suitable alternative for Nigerians amid the rising price of petrol and diesel.
