Willie Anumudu.

Willie Anumudu, who died at the age of 68 on April 21, 2020, was the Chairman and founder of Globe Motors.

A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he made a significant mark in various fields before establishing Globe Motors in 1982. Anumudu successfully expanded the company’s reach, covering key economic centers in Nigeria, including Lagos, Abuja, and Port-Harcourt. At one point, he partnered with Higer Bus Company of China to build an assembly plant in Lagos.

Known for his transparency and integrity, Anumudu was also a devoted philanthropist and devout Christian.

He was married to Nkiru Anumudu, and their union was blessed with children.
