Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin (FCA, MBA, CISA, DG, NADDC)
Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin was appointed by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to head the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) on October 13, 2023.
Until his appointment, he was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Jet Systems Automobile Industry Limited, an indigenous company that has been at the forefront of promoting electric vehicle technology in the country. Jet Systems specializes in producing Electric Vehicles (EVs) among other products. Its range includes passenger and utilitarian vehicles such as ambulances, military vehicles, as well as delivery vans.
Osanipin is a graduate of Management & Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Benin.
The new DG is a:
- Fellow, Chartered Accountant (FCA) with ICAN
- Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) with ISACA
He will have to leverage his over one decade experience financing critical projects as a personnel of one of Africa’s foremost financial institutions, Zenith Bank Plc, before he transitioned to the mobility space where he amassed cognate knowledge and experience.
