Josiah Samuel (Group Managing Director, Coscharis Group).

Mr. Josiah Samuel has been the Group Managing Director of the Coscharis Group since January 2003. An accomplished banker, he possesses a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

He started his career at the First Bank. He was also at the defunct Nigeria-Arab Bank. While in the banking industry, he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager at the now rested Broadbank. He was a pioneer personnel at Fidelity Bank PLC.

He joined Coscharis Group as Deputy General Manager in 1994 and became the Group General Manager. Within this period, he was on an assignment to MABIS USA, Westerville, Ohio, to manage the subsidiary of the company. Samuel is knowledgeable and experienced in acquisitions, establishing new businesses, and turning them around.

In 2001, he left Coscharis Group to set up and manage Sure-Comfort Systems Limited and Sure-Comfort Trades Limited as MD/CEO, which were computer, communications, commodity trading, and business consulting outfits. He is on the board of several other companies. He is widely travelled and has attended local and international courses in Finance and Management. Samuel is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
