Femi Olafunmiloye is the Managing Director/CEO of Lafbart Innovations & Consulting Limited, a firm based in Akure, Ondo State, that specializes in automotive engineering services. The company, one of the accredited training centers for the National Automotive Design and Development Council, provides both theoretical and practical training for artisans such as mechanics, welders, painters, and for drivers on basic maintenance and safety issues.

Olafunmiloye is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ado-Ekiti, with a wide range of experience in the oil sector from maintenance to seismic engineering. His cumulative work experience, spanning about a decade, was garnered from his exposure while working in Angola, the UAE, Mozambique, Algeria, and Uganda, among others. Olafunmiloye has also received training from the USA, the UK, France, China, India, and locally.

His passion for automobile, innovation, and problem-solving brought him back to begin this company, solving transport-oriented issues with cost-effective alternatives. His company has trained over 220 youths and partnered with firms, tertiary institutions, and different schemes of the government in this area.

Olafunmiloye is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and Nigerian Automotive Manufacturers Association (NAMA), amongst others. The company has both local and international partners. He is also on the Governing Board of NAMA.
