Chief Michael Ade.Ojo, founder of Elizade Nigeria Limited, doubles as Chairman of the company and TNL.

He holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Business Administration from the same institution in 1999.

Chief Ade.Ojo is also an educationist and a sports enthusiast.
He founded Elizade University and built the iconic Smokin Hills Golf Resort, both located in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State.

In 2021, the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, conferred on him an honorary Doctor of Business Administration in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in business and education, and his impact on society.

His work experience spans over 50 years, during which he held appointments with:

  • CFAO
  • The Federal Civil Service
  • BP (Nig) Ltd

Before establishing his own companies, he gained diverse experience across both the public and private sectors.

He is Chairman of several companies, including:

  • Moorhouse Company Ltd
  • Imperial Telecommunications Ltd
  • Braun Limited

He also serves on the board of several other companies, including the First City Monument Bank Group (FCMB Group).

Chief Ade.Ojo holds numerous awards from various social and business clubs he has been part of over the years.

Chieftaincy Titles:

  • AARE ATAYESE of Ilara-Mokin, conferred in recognition of his developmental projects in his hometown
  • Asiwaju of Imesi-Ile, Osun State, for his philanthropic contributions to the development of the town
  • Baaloro of The Source, conferred in 2010 by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade

National & Industry Recognition:

  • In 2005, he was honoured by the Federal Government of Nigeria with the award of Officer of the Order Of the Niger (OON), for his contributions to the economy and the auto industry
  • He has received numerous awards from the automobile industry, including:
    • Icon of the Nigerian Auto Industry by the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association
    • Auto Legend by the Nigerian Auto Media Awards (NAMA)
