Mikano Motors is an arm of Mikano International, a conglomerate with over three decades of experience providing quality solutions in Nigeria.
Mikano Motors launched in 2018 with an exclusive partnership with Zhengzou Nissan Auto (ZNA) to assemble, retail, and maintain their Riché6 line of pick-up trucks. This was followed by exclusive partnerships with Geely Automotive International Corporation (GAIC) and, later, Maxus Autos.
In February 2023, the automobile company added the Changan brand to its business, becoming the exclusive distributor of the brand of vehicles in Nigeria. With the addition of Changan, Mikano Motors became the sole distributor of three of China’s “Big Four” auto giants: SAIC Motors (Maxus), Dongfeng Motor Corporation (ZNA), and Changan Automobile Group.
The company states its vision is to provide Nigerians with high-quality, refined, and reliable vehicles, evident in its choice of partners, which include some of the most innovative, well-established, and globally trusted brands, for a full range of products covering most automotive segments.
Driven by its strong standard of excellent service delivery, vast business expansion, and a desire to provide quality solutions for Nigerians, Mikano constructed an ultra-modern complex called ‘The Karameh Industrial City’ in 2019.
The Karameh Industrial City is currently home to Mikano Motors, Generator, and Marine assembly plants, in addition to Food, Medical, and Brake Pad factories.
