Mandilas first introduced Volkswagen into Nigeria in 1953 as sole importers and distributors. This was before the establishment of the Volkswagen assembly plant in Nigeria, in which Mandilas was a partner.

In the 1990s, Mandilas became a distributor of various auto brands such as Audi, Peugeot, Nissan, Daihatsu, Honda, Kia, and Skoda. The company is currently one of the leading Toyota accredited dealers in Nigeria. It has a workshop network certified by Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan for the service of vehicles. Its after-sale and service portfolio is renowned in the industry and trusted for personalized services backed by competent and experienced personnel.
