Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Ltd is a joint venture formed by Dangote and Sinotruk to assemble and produce a full range of commercial vehicles covering heavy duty trucks, medium trucks, light trucks, and other semi-trailers.

It was established to meet an expected current demand for these segments of automobiles required for logistics, construction, food and beverage industries in Nigeria. The company has an installed capacity to assemble and produce 16-18 trucks per day or 10,000 trucks annually.

Dangote Sinotruk rolled out its first set of Nigeria-assembled Chinese trucks on April 25, 2017, from the Lagos plant. The company also has plans to have welding and painting shops to fabricate and paint truck cabins and trailers of different types to enhance local content of the CKD operation of commercial vehicle manufacturing.
