Coscharis started business in 1977 as an importer and distributor of genuine automotive spare parts, accessories of Japanese vehicles, and other kinds of automobile-related products. From that humble beginning, Coscharis Group proceeded into automobile sales and became the sole representative of the BMW brand in Nigeria.
Thereafter, from being a noble ambassador of the BMW brand in Nigeria, it made possible the grand entry of other great brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, Mini, Morris Garages, and finally the luxurious Rolls-Royce brand into the Nigerian market, with Coscharis as the second franchisee in the whole of Africa. It provides many quality people with luxury and valuable brands as displayed in its ultramodern showrooms nationwide.
It has grown into a conglomerate with business interests in various sectors of the Nigerian economy, such as Automobile, Medical, Foods & Beverages, Information Technology, Engineering, and Agriculture. The company, with an array of globally respected partners, has continued to be a major contributor to Nigeria’s economy and West Africa.

Within the auto industry, Coscharis holds the sole franchise of the Abro automotive care brands and the car rental franchise for Sixt Rent a Car through its subsidiary, Coscharis Mobility in Nigeria.
Aftersales Service/ Facilities Coscharis Motors has made significant investments in after-sale facilities across the country and training of specialized personnel to ensure that its customers stay satisfied while putting their vehicles on the road. The firm also provides genuine automotive spare parts and automotive-related products to the general public via distributors.
Coscharis Motors sales and service locations are spread across the five geopolitical zones. They are found in Abuja, Kano, Gombe, Lagos, Ekiti, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Calabar, and Enugu, among others.
CSR Coscharis regularly engages in corporate social responsibility investments in order to give back to society. This is done through the sponsorship of both public and private human development activities such as the annual week of caring, and Public Private Auto Training Programmes at its auto training center.
