About AUTOGUIDE

The Nigeria Auto Guide is a biennial publication that lists auto franchise holders, corporate companies, and related sectors like tyres, lubricants, spare parts, banks, and insurance to assist buyers of new vehicles in Nigeria. First published in 2012 to guide buyers, particularly government and corporate bodies, it has had three editions (2012, 2014, 2018), with the 2020 edition canceled due to COVID-19. The 4th edition is being prepared for release by the end of 2023. The founding editors are Theodore Opara, Frank Kintum, and Dr. Oscar Odiboh.

EDITORS

He is the Motoring Editor of Vanguard Newspaper and holds the Reputation of being the most Decorated Motoring Journalist in Nigeria having won multiple industry awards. Theodore studied Journalism at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos and later bagged a degree in History and International Relations from the Lagos State University. A member of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), and other professional bodies, he has travelled across the world for motor shows, auto tests drives, products launches, among others. With over 20 years experience in Motoring Journalism, he has also earned a reckoning of being a resource person on the Nigerian Auto Industry. A past chairman of the Guild of Motoring Correspondents (now Nigeria Auto Journalists Association, he is happily married with children.

He holds a Masters Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the Lagos State University. He is a member of many professional and associated bodies some of which are Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), and International Motor Press Association (IMPA). With over 20 years experience in journalism and marketing communications, he has travelled to many countries attending seminars, test drives, motor shows, among others. He is a former Chairman of Nigerian Auto Journalists Association (NAJA), and is happily married with children.

He has written books on Marketing Communications which are highly recommended in higher institutions in Nigeria.
